Designer Sasha Bikoff took inspiration from Branch Brook Park, home to the East Coast’s largest collection of cherry blossom trees, to revamp a 1927 Georgian manor in Newark, New Jersey. With views of the park from the street-facing windows, Bikoff infused the home with springtime energy and period elegance reimagined for the 21st century.

Every room in the 5,850-square-foot brick stunner showcases bold chromatic pairings, botanical-themed wall coverings, and playful interpretations of classic design elements. From the mint and pink palette in the living room to the lacquered Kelly green panels in the kitchen, each space is a celebration of nature and youthful energy.

Bikoff used a mix of prints, like floral wallpapers and geometric patterns, to soften the preppy contrasts and bring a sense of whimsy to the home. Custom lacquered green cabinetry, crisp white countertops, and antique rugs blend tradition with modernity in the kitchen, while the daughter’s ensuite bath features lustrous pink mosaic tiles reminiscent of cherry blossoms.
